Default open headers

lets say, hypothetically, that i slap some pacesetter LT's on my little 4.8...
then i put the ORY on, no cats....still disonnected from the muffler..

would i damage anything firing it up and listening to it, or am i jeapordizing the valvetrain or any other parts??

i feel like i just have to hear it rumble..and after this cam saturday will come LT's....

thanks for advice.

No you won't hurt anything.. You can even just put the headers on first and then crank it.

Unplug the front o2's with open headers. They will sense fresh air and make it run extremely rich.

Yeah; you fire it up with open headers and you'll instantly want to take it for a spin.

2 min. 27 seconds later you're tired of the noise.....but it still sounds cool.

so, i should just leave the o2's unplugged after install....take a load *** drive around the neighborhood...then plug it all back up and stick it to my muffler.

i hate when i plan **** ahead of time like this.......it gets me excited and that'll be all i think about until i get a free day to get er done.

cam first <saturday> then headers.... it should sound good, i will try and make a sound clip if it dont sound too shitty.

just a stock z06 cam.. 207/217 .525/.525 on a 116
it probably wont lope much at all, but it should be great for my truck cause its my DD. i have a little predator tuner, so i knew i would have tuning issues if i went too big on the cam...i can only do so much with the predator...but it works fine for me as of now.
