Default Open header ?

I'm taking thetruck to the trans shop for service today, and I"m wondering if it would hurt anything to drive it there with open headers, they're pacesetter long tubes. I have the y pipe off because I'm adding some bungs to it, and it looks like it needs to drop down to get the tranny pan off. Anyone know if I'll do any damage with open headers? If I can drive it I will, rather than put the y pipe back on so they can take it off again. Thanks.

It won't hurt anything, but it will probably throw some codes since the 02 sensor will not be there. So long as you don't drive it for an extended period it should be ok. It will be LOUD though.

It woun't hurt to drive it to your shop. As mentioned above, you'll have some codes unless you have already been tuned for that. Keep from getting in the throttle deep unless you want the sound ploice to come get ya!
