Default open exhaust question

The back half of my exhaust came apart after the Pacesetter ORY pipe (cheap C clamps) so I decided to remove it. So I have no exhaust system after the ORY pipe. Besides other peoples ears, is this gonna hurt anything, I dont see any thing in the immediate area where the exhaust gas dumps out to be effected by any heat. It actually seems to pull a little harder up top, but down low seems a little sluggish. I actually like the sound of it lol.
