I was trying to make it a poll but i guess it didnt work...
Option one is to build a 5.7L short block out of my 5.3L spare block w/all forged internals
Or
Option two which is buy a new lsx block and have a nice starting foundation
*selling my bagged s10 so i'm either going to do one or the other*
I guess just post up 1 or 2.... unless a Moderator can fix this thread as a poll for me...

well what exactly will interchange over to the new lsx block? that might help me out and save a little....
I can basically buy the block but it would probably take me 3-4 months maybe to get the rods and pistons.....since i have a kid on the way.. but i'm really not in a hurry to have the motor done anytime soon.
