Talking One more 5.3 cam question

Last one from me guys I promise. Before I order it I just wanna get some feedback from you guys. I'm about to order a 212/218 cam for the truck and I was going to go with a low lift for more low end torque but some people say go hi lift. don't get me wrong yeah I want this big heavy thing to go fast but I need it to move itself too. I'm about to add a 3k stall with this cam and 4.56's so I know the gears will help me of the line but what do you guys think?

Wait you are gonna have a 3k stall, 4.56 gears and your concerned about that baby cam? Dude you are doing everything right except your picking too small of a cam. I think you would do really nice with a 220/224 cam. If you are worried then go with the trick flow 216/220 cam. Don't sell yourself short those gears and stall will get you moving out of the hole get as much power as you can!

gears and stall are huge gains.
when I had 40" tires, 5.38 gears, long tubes and a tune I would beat stock trucks pretty bad.
the 212-218 will work well but I think you will get bored of it pretty quick. I ran a TSP220 with a 3200 circle d and it was fun with that setup

Well I was going to go with the tsp 220 or the tsp224 but im going to have stock heads. so you think I should go with the 220? I was just worried about it being a slouch down low. my main goal is getting off the line with my lift and tires.

My 2 main concerns with a bigger cam are that I want to keep my stock heads and I want to be torquey
