Ok, then that makes no sense. How would that explain devation when I ran the same tire the whole time?

Besides, I'm running a 17'' wheel now, not a 16'' wheel. there is a 1.2'' difference. There is a 75rpm difference at 70mph. That is like 2 farts and a breeze.

You also forget that the MTs are much wider (almost 2 inches wider!) and have a softer, knobbier design that will hurt gas milage a ton. We are talking about tires with a 0.75'' deep tread that will wear flat in 50k miles vs a 0.375'' deep tread that will last 65kmiles and not be bald.

70mph on 305s was 1850rpm

32.8/31.2 = 1.0379

1.0379 * 1850 = 1920 rpm

so actually, 70rpm
