Corsa is the best but if your looking for just a weld up muffler to replace your stock one, the Hooker Aerochamber is a good muffler cause it flows great, sounds great and has minimal drone compared to alot of other out there. If money was no issue though, id go Corsa! Both the Sport and Touring are good but the sport will be a little louder. Either way between the two, its just what you want and you cant go wrong!

I like my Magnaflow. But the Corsa does sound mean. Ive never heard a Aerochamber so i dont know about that one.
I got my Magnaflow for $65 and welded it up myself. It is very quiet until you hammer on it, and then she will talk to you.
But if i were to do it again.. i would get a Magnaflow. But thats just me.

I wouldn't say the is one single muffler out there that is better than the rest. I run a Hooker Aerochamber and I'm pleased with it.

About the same volume i guess just different tone. The Corsa has absolutely no drone and sounds the absolute best IMO but the Hooker is best bang for the buck and sounds damn good as well. The hooker will barely drone as well.

I got my Corsa off ebay awhile back. Cant remember exactly what i paid for it. I think it was like 500 shipped for the catback but its full stainless so it will never rust and its approved by GM and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Ther is no one best muffler. If there was, we would ALL be running it. Look around you and listen to the trucks in your area. Stop and talk to the people with the sound you like!

I said the best IMO. I didnt say the best period. Your right, there are alot of good mufflers out there and it does depend on the sound your looking for but i think im acurate when i say the consensus around here is that the Corsa is the best in the opinion of alot of people and that majority of people that arent running the Corsa would like to have it but just dont wanna spend the money.

Now that doesnt go for every single person but i would say majority anyways. I have not heard one dissatisfied Corsa owner.

I'm sorry I wasn't responding to your post, just the original question
BUT since you mention it, I have heard folks here complain of raspyness from the corsa.
I personally dont want a Corsa although they are a high quality unit, no doubts. I love my Borla and am satisfied with that.
I might mention that IMO a stainless system is the way to go, whatever you choose!
