for anyone who was keeping up with this, I ended up doing the Gibson single outlet sweptside exhaust w/ a Hooker 4" resonator tip. I've not installed it yet, but think it will be exactly what I'm looking for.

As for the intake...well, lets just say I've got a stock pile of K&N recharger kits and I went w/ the old reliable K&N replacement filter. I do have plans of doing a custom tube, but decided to leave the closed box alone for quietness.
