i have read go with a 212/218 cam and i have friends go with a 220/224 cam but this what i have and wanna do.

i have stock on my truck now. how much of a diff. will i see n pulling or tq power, this is what i have and plan on doin to truck. o truck is my daily and will not see much racing action, maybe a few runs every few months. lol

stock 5.3l wit magnaflow turndown before axle
stock 17s on 245/70

plan on doin.
ls6 cam
3.73s
longtube headers
vette servo
cai
tune
and tbss 22 on 265/35 if really matters.

 

Replace the LS6 cam on your list with a 3000+ stall torque converter. That will yield you much better gains than a cam. Then replace 3.73's with 4.10's...
