Default Oiy, my fuel pump goes........

WWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..........

It doesn't get much louder than this, can't.

I know its typically normal for our trucks, but this thing has just plain gotten LOUD. I'm looking into replacing this shindig. I wouldn't be surprised if it has any role in my odd *** mysterious engine "burps" that was never officially diagnosed, doubt it though, gonna change my filter as well......Anyway.....

Fuel pumps guys......who's replaced them, what you recommend, what kinda labor am I lookin at.......appreciate it.

I think replacments are just now getting done. I don't know of anyone that has done it on the trucks yet. But it looks easiy enough. Just pull the bed off. I think that may be just as easy as dropping the tank. If I were you, I would just go back with a stock one from a salvage yard or something. I have no idea how much an aftermarket one costs.

yeah, naturally my concern is the labor involved. If you mean taking the entire bed off, well, that at the moment would be completely out of the question. Don't have the tools nor the location. Eitherway, both ways are a problem, I can't think of a lift I can borrow for a day. Tryin to get my big *** under my truck is a pain enough with just jacks.

**** I dunno........gonna have to keep thinkin bout this one......
