Default Oil pump pickup tube and o-ring questions

I have had poor oil pressure issues with my cast iron 6.2.
Hot idle around 20 psi.
Having a look at things and I took a couple pictures of the pickup tube and o-ring to see if anyone can tell me if what I have is causing my low pressure.
First, there is only one bolt hole to hold the tube into a pump that has two holes.
Second, when I unbolted the two supports from the pickup tube I can wobble around a bit. Shouldn't it be a bit snug?
I think this is supposed to be an ls7 oil pump. Do I have the wrong tube? Will it make any difference?

And last question.
I have heard of different o-rings (different colors or something).
How do I know what's right for my mismatched setup?

Thanks for your input.

It's been a long while but IIRC you want a green O ring . If you have stuff wobbling around then something is not set right .

I looked again and it's supposed to be a "ported and shimmed ls6 oil pump"

So a green o-ring?
How do I know 100% that's the one I need?
Will this pickup tube even work with this pump?

Thanks for your input Tim z

The ls7 is a dry sump engine, so I doubt you have that pump.

Match the oring to the tube. There are 2 tube styles I believe, one has a indention near the end, one doesnt. Cant remember which oring goes with which.

Its normal to only use 1 bolt.

Did you cut open the oil filter and look for shavings?

Thanks, I had that one wrong.

I will take a close picture of the tube later today and see what I need for it.

SDPC Gave me some solid answers.
LS6 oil pump needs BLUE o-ring
LQ4 pickup tube needs ORANGE o-ring

The guy I talked to said that he remembered the two being very different dimensions.
I wonder if I should just get an LQ4 oil pump so that I can have them matched up better.

NAPA has the pump at 180 dollars.
Maybe I can find a way to make the LS6 pump work....

You need to match the oring to the TUBE not the pump.
