Default Oil and PCV problems. HELP NEEDED

Well i have been getting parts together for a procharger kit, and in the meantime i have installed a catch can between the ls6 valley cover and the intake manifold and it is filling up within 100-180 miles. I did the valley cover swap for the reason of oil consumption when I did my ls3 heads and l92 valley cover. I can't figure out why the hell this much oil is being collected. Also, before the catch can i have been having oil consumption issues. I would burn at least 2 quarts between oil changes.

Any ideas of what the problem might be? I would like to fix this before I install the procharger.

Thanks for the help!

Do a compression test and see what you come up with. Sounds like you have higher than normal crankcase pressure to push that much oil thru the valley cover. Any leaks at other seals (valve covers, front main, rear main, oil pan, etc)?

No leaks that I have found. That is what I was thinking about the compression... Would putting a breather on the gas cap help this
problem?
