I ve been using the Bosch filter. Relativly cheap an the only other ones they had were frams and k&ns. I wont run a fram and didnt want to spend 15 bucks on a k&n. Most guys on here will recomend the delco's but I havnt had a chance to get one bc the didnt have any in stock...

I have been using Frams, but after reading that study I am considering a switch to AC Delco. I was just wondering, isn't AC Delco a GM company? If I go straight to GM to buy a filter, are they gonna sell me a AC Delco filter, or is it another type?

If you go to the dealer (Chevy or GMC) they'll give you AC Delco...last I checked I couldn't find PF-59's at WalMart or K-Mart. I bought 5 of them from GMPartsdirect.com...good price but they nail you on shipping.
