Default Oil catch cans

For those of you that don't think oil catch cans are worth the money let me tell you that they are. I've had mine hooked up for a few thousand miles and would check it once in a while and nothing was there so I thought it was a waste of money. Well it happends that I had it hooked up on the passenger side of the valve cover. I changed it around a few days ago had have less than 100 miles on it. I opened it up today and there was a good amount of oil in it. Just a trace in the bottom up the catch can but there was a little more in the filter. Now this is with less than 100 miles on it. I can imagine the amount of oil going through your intake in thousands of miles driven. I recommend this to anyone.

AMX, I think if you use your search engine you will find it. about 6 months ago the were like 80.00 dollars and it was so popular they are 180.00 dollars now (suply and demand) but I still think they are worth it. You can't imagine the amonth of oil that goes through your intake. If you search this forum alot of people just make there own. I bought an optional bracket that mounts it to the passengers side head. very clean. I will post some pictures in a couple of days. Busy today and going to the track tomarrow

Looks cool, but what's with the crank case breather coming up through the oil fill cap?

nice LS6 valley pan you got there, if you do the LS6 breathing conversion it suppose to fix that. also you can build that setup for cheap something like 30 bucks

Setup I rigged till I can get a new set of valve covers with BAFFLES. The covers I have now are my friends. He clearanced them to run his Jesels and he hacked the baffles out. So when I used them oil was barfing back up the vent tube into the intake. Bad deal. So the breathers there till I get new covers.

Quik,

The LS6 cover alone does not fix the oil consumption problem.
