No one brand really dominating. I was thinking about using pennzoil 5w-30. I was getting my oil change at the dealership. When I bought my truck, they were offering free oil changes for life. I really needed to get my oil change one day and didn't have time to do it myself. So I stop by a quick lube place and they used pennzoil. I could tell a difference in + performance. But it seem like the life of it was that long. I don't always change oil right at 3k miles.
But then again the + performance could just getting new oil in there.
