Default Oh No, what went wrong

Returning from a fishing trip the other day I pulled the boat back 200 miles and the 05 6.0L ran fine. The boat pulled a little harder than I thought it should but there was a very strong cross wind.

When I got home I backed the boat in the garage, everything was fine.

After a while I went up to the store (just a few blocks) but the truck sputtered like it was nearly out of gas. Got it home and parked it in the garage.

This morning I went out to start it up and it was hard to start and would not run.
If it did start it quit right away and once coughed up(backfire pop) a bunch of wet sooty substance all over the wall and now the garage is full of smoke

Thought maybe a bad fuel pump, I have 78,000 on the rig. But when I turn the key to the run position I can here the fuel pump run then stop.
I can hear it again after an attempt to start

What color is the smoke? Black or white? You have a check engine light on?

Blue tint.

I had a check engine light but erased it, it was about cat performance.
I have a set of LT headers and have not turned off the rear O2 sensors.

Have you got the truck started yet?If not have a friend crank the engine over as you hit the bottom of the gas tank with a plastic or rubber mallet. If it starts you need a fuel pump.Clean or replace your PCV valve also.Good luck
