Bumping it up...

I just bought a 2005 RCLB V6 2wd WT truck for 500$ I'm a little confused on the DBW/DBC thing.

the truck is a DBC V6, Can I use a 99-02 harness or do I need a 03-06 harness and mount a new pedal? I love DBC because I and turboing this truck.

Re-pin an 03-07 classic harness or use a van wiring harness and run a Van OS.

A V6 should already have a mechanical pedal so you just need the right throttle cable from a 99-02 V8 truck.

Quick question.
I've got an 03 with a v6 that's DBC.

It's my understanding to use a 99-02 harness.
But, What year engines can I use?
I'm looking for a 6.0l and the easiest swap possible.
Also the engine mounts should be for an 03 6.0l to make it fit my truck?

Ive got a 2000 silverado 4.3 (230k) that im doing the 6.0 swap in . My 6.0 is out of a 2000 hd with 120k , so my first question is should i use the 4l80 thats on the 6.0 or stick with my 4l60. I can get the 4l80 for $300 extra bucks and Im sure mine would need rebuilt .

so seeing this post and having a couple questions I find that I may have bought wrong parts seeing as I have a 2006 4.3 rcsb. keep in mind this is my first build and I do not know a bunch about this, even though I have done a lot of searching and still yet have found a tried and true version.

I purchased a 2006 avalanche 5.3 complete with pedal. so if when turboing I see more people prefer the dbc vs the dbw. so what exact parts do I need to either fully convert over to dbw or parts needed to keep the dbc. I would like to do what ever is easiest as I don't have a ton of time to do the conversion once I start. any help would be appreciated.

ok so i am right in the middle of my swap, which is a 2002 Yukon 6.0 going into a 2004 GMC Sierra originally a 4.3 5-speed. i am keeping the trans, and everything has been going smootly so far, until i ran into some wiring issues that have stalled my progress.

there is a white and blue connector under the fuse block that does not mate up with the new harness. it looks like it goes down the frame to supply power to the rear of the truck. any information would be helpfull

Default 98 Chevrolet 1/2 ton V6 to 6.0

I am collecting the parts needed to convert 98 c1500 V6 4.3 to a 2006 Escalade 6.0 & am interested in what's necessary for motor mounts.
