Octane Booster?
#1
I picked up some Lucus Oil Octane Booster for some dyno pulls this weekend, just wanted to see if it's safe for the Gen III engines and if so should I put it into a half tank or the full tank?

id try a half because it will boost the octan higher since it is less to mix with, ive used a couple times but havent noticed a difference. i did notice i got less knock when i sed some 109 though.

If your engine does not knock (ping) now, the octane booster will not improve performance during the dyno pulls. High octane fuel burns SLOWER compared to low octane fuel. If the compression ratio on your truck is stock, octane boosters may actually harm the performance of your engine.

The only octane booster that is worth a **** is made by Torco. They call it a "Race Fuel Concentrate" as opposed to Octane Booster. It works. They have it for leaded fuel, and another one for unleaded fuel, and it also comes in 5 gallon cans.

Torco is the ****
I use it every tank and it's cheaper than race fuel.
It Works
if you need it.1 qt to 20 gal makes 97 octane from 93 so its easy to use.
More Torco can yield 107 octane
