Yeah mine bent but did not break, but no oil ever came out of that hole.
I still can't get it to stick in there right I don't no whats going on. Ill just have to get a new dipstick when I sell the truck. How much was your dipstick, im going to guess it was probably 100+ from the dealership.

I broke mine too and a new tube was only ~$20 from the dealer.

if i knew the dipstick was a commmon problem, i probably would have bought one ahead of time.. i can't get one till tomorrow, no stealerships parts dept. open on sundays.

it is the only thing keeping me from firing the truck up, other than that the headers are completely on and ready to go

I bought the 1/2 ton system for the 5.3. It bolted up to my lQ4 with plenty of clearance on my HD and cleared the 4l80 with room to spare. Other than the drivers side hump, I've got no complaints at all and that's just because of the plug wire clearance. I am amazed at how well they fit and look for 500 bucks. I get more compliments on them than the blower. lol

that is was i was so surprised at. the fit and overall quality was excelent for the price. they bolted right up with only minimal issues. the problems like hitting hte pass. side frame and front drive shaft were not issues with mine. plenty of clearance on teh pass side and it barely rubs the drive shaft, i put a very minute dent in it to solve that. if you did not know the dent was there, most would never notice it.
