Default O2 sensors,CEL, and Beating dead horses

Originally a 2016 Silverado 5.3 with 3 Cats, 2 o2 sensors, 2 resonators.

I recently fabricated a true 2.5” dual exhaust from the factory Manifold leaving the 2 factory cats and o2 sensors in tact, eliminating the Ypipe and third un sensored Cat and resonators, also installed a x pipe into A dual in dual out super 10. This is the fifth one I have done and the first to throw a CEL. Only thing different is the super10 muffler. If I disconnect the battery and reset it runs perfectly until I shut it off and restart, in which the light comes on and seems to be running rich etc, repeat process. QUESTION? Does adding the spark plug anti fouling extension just eliminate the CEL or does it send data to the fuel injection system to operate like it would if I disconnect the battery and reset the system. I’m not just wanting the light to turn off I also want it to run like a reset system.

Those trucks have 4 o2 sensors, two before the primary cats and two after.

What code is it throwing?

PO6DD oil pressure switch? I figured it was a o2 sensor since it was running slightly erratic.

I found the GM bulletin, and also talked to a GM mechanic. He pretty much said that if I wasn’t experiencing very high oil pressure or no oil pressure that’s probably not the problem, and 8 out of 10 times they have resolved the CEL with cleaning out a filter screen that’s underneath the sensor and changing the sensor altogether since you are removing it anyways. I have not got into that yet on the YouTube. So much for exhaust O2 issues.
