o2 sensors

Default o2 sensors

I want to put cut-outs right up against my headers. Ie replace the cat, what do I do with the o2 sensor behind the cat? Isn't this one supposed to read what they o2 is like after the cat? so what are some suggestions. Also how will this affect my engine with the cutouts open and closed.thanx, oh yeah richard I checked out your site bitchin truck!

You need 02 simmulators (electronically replace the signal sent by a normal config)...they allow you to remove the cat or use a cutout before the cat with out getting codes set by the PCM.

where do you get them how much do they cost, and most important will this affect the PCM ability to make correct adjustments on the motor getting incorrect signals?thanx

Just leave the front O2 sensors hooked up and put the O2 sims on the rear ones and you will be ok.
