After just getting everything with the rear end done, I threw an SES light Sunday. My truck has been running a little rough for a while now but it was never anything bad. I took it to Auto Zone to get checked and they said it was the rear O2 sensors. Would it be best to replace them, or would there be anything else I could do? $60 a peice does not sound like something I want to do right now after the rear end work I just had done and the tune.

i would erase the codes and then drive it for a while to see if they come back on.then if the code returns then see which one it is. more than likely it is only one. what code was it?

I don't remember what the number was, when I installed my new pcm today it went away but it still feels a little rough. Is there any way to maybe clean them so that they perform better, like running higher octane or a fuel additive or something? The guy at Auto Zone said that I would probably be able to unplug it and clean off the terminals and it might help.

The rear o2 sensors should not cause it to run rough. They are only there to check the efficiency of the catyltic convertor. Your front o2 are the ones that control fuel mixture. If I was you I would just due what 02denali said & reset the code & see if it return.
