Hey all. Well my brain finally caught-up to my heart and well... as much as I would LOVE to put on a turbo or add a S/C... financially I can not

I was looking at doing a cam swap for now and add a set of heads to the mix and call it a day. Ok here is the question...

What kind of numbers would I put down with my combo?? And secondly how much effect would this have on daily driving?


Before you all answer I know the numbers will be nowhere near what a turbo or S/C will give me.

Why dont you get the new AFR heads. I was reading in a HOT ROD magazine that said they put down 509 rwhp with those heads and a cam.

 

Best bang for the buck. I am not looking for all out performance.. just a nice set of messaged heads and a small step up in compression to get this big *** truck of mine out of its own way.

I am looking for good driveabilty(almost stocklike) so going big on the heads isn't really necessary. The price is great for a basic set of ported and polished heads with upgraded springs for the cam.
