Now or later

Well the time has finally come for me to get my truck and there were like 10 different 4.8L RC I was thinking about but now they're all sold. The only thing I can find as of now is a bunch of 4.3L V6s. Should i get a 4.3L or wait for a 4.8L? If they had a 4.8L RC I could get it today.

go look at the used car lots , there has to be some , used car lots always have silverados for not that much, you can usually get a 99 just like mine for like 8k or sometimes even 6 or 7k, just search good and dsont go to the dealerships , they sell real expensive.

Funny, I was thinking about doing that. The only reason he won't let me is because it's to major of a project. I just need to wait until he goes out of town again.

I don't know where exactly you are in Austin, but I found several that I think are worth looking at on www.autotrader.com:
2000 Red GMC Sierra C/K1500 2WD Regular Cab
2000 Blue GMC Sierra C/K1500 2WD Regular Cab
Both of those are relatively low mileage...red one is a 5.3 (8th place in VIN is a "T",) blue one is a 4.8 (8th place is "V".)
And a Chevy...
2000 Chevrolet Silverado and other C/K1500 2WD Regular Cab
