Default Not your typical cam question

Does anyone know if there is a company that makes either a 216/216 .56x/.56x(or .58x/.58x) on a 110 or a 112 lsa or a 218/218 .58x/.58x (or .600/.600) on a 110 or 112 as a standard cam grind? or would I have to have a cam like either of these options custom ground?

I don't know of one, but TSP sells a Comp (XE-R) cam that is 'off the shelf', and comes somewhat close. It's a 220/220 .581''/.581'' 112+4.

But, ordering a cam is very simple as long as you have the lobe numbers... and of course, know what you want.

Well I know about that one but I am not sure if it will pass Cali smog.

It'd be right on the edge. Guy out in Cali who grinds cam usually shoots for -4* of overlap or less on his smog-able grinds. 220/220-112 has -4* of overlap. You could keep it safe and shorten duration some tho, but keep the 112LSA and probably pass with ease.

218/218-112

How tough are the emission checks?

TEA has a 218/218 on a 112, but not sure of the lift though.
