I bought a KN FPIK, no noticable increase, for the 250 dollars I spent on it, It would be one of the last things that I bought for power increasers. Just go out and buy the replacement air filter for 50 bucks or do the free mod (yes it is a free mod but it seems like it would work.) Just pull out the bottom of the air box and with a jigsaw cut a couple rectangles or squares in it on both the front and rear sides of the box. It does give the motor a different sound. The only good thing I found about the FPIK is the noticable sound of air coming in the motor at idle and you can really hear it suck in air when you rev it.

There are mixed feelings about the FIPK some love some not so much. Some people have actually reported losses with it. i agree with the above post that for the money it may not be the best mod. In my experience however it did improve response and up the milage 1 or 2 mpg. But i cant tell you if you can get the same with just the drop in. If you are really planning to mod out your engine wether you go na or forced induction the FIPK will help out more. Basically the more power you want to run the more itll help.

Yes, the tune will be fine. You can't get long tube headers though like the ASMs, you can get TOGs though.
