Default Non-consistant times. :(

I still have not got this beast of a cam tuned but it feels real good on the top end.

Thing is I been trying to get some times on my way home each night with the G-Timer (not G-Tech) and I seems to be all over the board time wise.

I ran a couple times the other day with the truck fully loaded (seats, tailgate, gas etc.) and I avg. 14.5@94mph. With one run in another spot 14.6@92.8mph.

Tonight I ran on the same road as the fast runs thinking it was a level issue so i tracked it using the level indicator on the G-Timer and it looked good so i ran.

1st run in the "might be downhill direction": 14.43@96.1mph 2.05 60'

2nd run in other direction (same exact piece of road): 14.60@94.5mph 2.07 60' .... I also noticed I was just above 210deg (forgot to turn fans on) my other runs are at 180deg.

3rd run in the same spot as run #1 and truck back at 180deg: 14.38@96.3mph 2.05 60'.

I then drove off and ended up at a stoplight on a highway with a perfectly smooth and straight streach of road and decided to time again. This time I got a 14.19@98mph 2.02 60'.

I know these timers are not super consistant but damn. Before the cams I would always run very close in times and it was always very close to what I ran at the track given same conditions. I actually ran it at the track and it was only .12 10ths and .7mph off.

Does anyone else seem to have consistancy problems??

*EDIT*: I forgot to mention I have removed my tailgate and rear seats to save on gas durring my 145mile commute. I shed 110lbs that way.

you know I had the same problem with mine being consistant, and I removed the EGR emissions crap, and now it is with in 10th of a sec on every run except for when i get bad traction. dont know if this has anything to do with your setup, just something I tried out on mine.

It's a thought.

I have the AS&M headers so the EGR is not even hooked up I think. There is something that doesn't hook up on those. Can't remember what though. LOL

I also get an EGR insuficient flow gose also.
