No Relays in my Nelson Fan Harness... wtf?
#1
I FINALLY got my truck running today. Nelson neglected to tell me about the PCM relearn I needed to do. Once I got it running I tested the fans and they did not work, neither the lows nor the highs with the A/C on. After hours I finally figured out that there's no damn relays in my harness!!! Isn't their harness supposed to come with relays, or do I need to get my own?
The relay holders are there, with the wires going into them, just none of these...

Mine came with the relays, sound like someone effed up...some good 30 amp relays will do you fine. I'd call or email Nelson though to let him know what happened, think I've heard of this happening one time before too. Simple mistake...

Well I need the truck this weekend so I can't wait for them send me relays, which wouldn't get hear until Tuesday at the earliest if they overnighted them on Monday.
Any idea where to find these relays, part numbers? Thanks.

Personal opinion - buy some decent relays instead of no-name Chinese (Maylaysian, Korean, etc) junk. You might be OK with the cheap ones but from my experience they sometimes don't hold up as well as a good relay (Bosch or similar).

I'm still waiting on nelson to respond to my emails I sent last week. Good luck getting them to respond. Everytime I call, the girl says they're busy and gets my name and number for them to call me back. I've wasted several hours waiting on them. Thank God for the internet! ABC auto parts has some good AC delco ones. The only problem is they don't have the tab on them to screw into the pcm cover. I just let mine hang, they have plenty of room from the belt.
