No low end power....?

... your pcm by disconnecting the battery? I have never done it buy I'm sure a search will reveal the process. Are the plugs gapped correctly?
Alot of it has to do with tuning. My 05 L33 5.3 so called H.O. will not burn them from a stop. I'm sure If I ever get my TM removed it will live up to it.
Torque managment is a great thing for the auto makers reliability reputations. They make it difficult for us to abuse them. Enter the tuners, thus leaving it up to us to use the proper TLC. Heh!
Not all are the same. A friend of mine has an 05 RCSB 2WD that runs like a mad dog. It will smoke em and chirp 2nd. My 92 ECSB 3WD with a 185 or 200hp 5.7 would sizzle the tires as for long as I wanted them to with a limited slip rearend.
Uh? By the way?
Did you change your oil after the sea foam?

I agree. I've had a 300hp 350 in 68 Camaro that would melt the tires and peg the speedo.
These 4.8 and 5.3 engines just don't have any low end power but have it up top. We have a 2500 rclb 6.0 at work and it will spin the tires easy if you aren't careful. Also the old 350's pulled trailers better. I just want more low end with out having to lose my driveability and towing.
Sorry for the rant!!!

a tune would help alot and if your gutting the cats just have the exhaust shop fabricate up another y pipe or use u bends and an aftermarket y pipe. Then cat back, I would expect at least a 40 rwp gain just from those 3 things. A stall will let you burn the tires down but thats at the expense of low rpms. gears would help alot down low, old man cam etc..

Yes a Radix will do the job but I also have been reading alot of post here lately about blown trannys and G80's. I'd like to go FI but I'd just blow up something. I think I'm having G80 problems already.

5.3 engines go a very long way when dealing with milking power out of them...either low-end or high-end...
A friend of mine ran 11.67 on his '03 silvy with 150-shot of nitrous (TNT), a big *** cam, 3400 stall (vigilante)...amongst other mods
