That's what I'm assuming they're talking about...I like the smell too, but it isn't too obvious to me. I grew up with carbureted pre-cat vehicles though, and they are much more odoriferous than a properly tuned fuel injected vehicle without cats.

I love how it smells, plus if you ever run race fuel it's that much better...

I actually like the smell....but idk if the cops will
they seem to be pulling me over for no reason lately
just dont wanna give them another reason to bust me for
i just got a $324 tiket for no front license plate!!!!!!!
theyve been pretty rough on me lately

so you guys think I should wait and find some high flow cats?

lol you better wait then. I get nervous everytime I'm around a cop since I have no cats haha. I wanted to install a cat about a foot before my muffler to cut down some of the smell and the rasp.

i haven't noticed mine at all, only had it for a few months with no cats, i also have a 1500hd crew.

When i removed my cats i did notice it got a pretty good exhaust smell to it and also got alot louder...(I Like It)...

with 93 octane and no cats you can smell a difference on mine with 3 different tunes... i like it but it sticks to your clothes and gives you a headache after a while

I always called it the "Old School" smell. Reminds me of my dads old truck everytime i smell it. I kinda like it, but yea to much of it can't be good.

been around hotrods and racing my whole life, i do not notice it anymore, and as posted before, i love the smell of tire smoke.
