how loud would that combo be on a 5.3L and it would be dumped before the axle. does anyone have a sound clip of this? also has there been any update on if pacesetter is coming out with Lts that fit 4wds.

ad raspy trust me. it was loud but it was louder with no muffs. i hated the setup but it was true duel so i dont know if a y pipe would reduce rasp but i dont think so.

 

i gave up on pacesetter than there LT's for 4x4's

its a thorley GP on another forum i think.. those will fit 4x4's

if not then ASM and togs will work

 

manifolds, no cats, and Flows Super40 both pipes turned out on same side before rear wheel, OMG, lucky i didn't get a ticket. wasn't nearly as bad with cats, but became Super loud when i cut the cats. went down the next day and had a magnaflow 3" in dual 2.5" out installed to tone it down some, but that is still louder than the Flow with cats.

with a 40 flow, no cats, flowmaster ypipe and stock manifolds my ears were ringing after a 20 minute drive add headers and get ready for tickets
Ive allready noticed the cops following me and I just had it done this afternoon.

 

I didn't know flowmaster made a Y pipe for our trucks. Where did you get it from?
