Default NNBS Throttle Body Differences (2007 vs. 2009)

So I've done the NNBS intake manifold swap and used a 2009 truck intake and LS7 90mm TB. Now I'm cycling a CEL on ignition cycles with P0101, 0220 & 2135 codes and seeing a reduced engine power message. I've been told the TB is the culprit and swapping to a NNBS 87mm TB should fix the issue.

Looking at the NNBS TBs, there appears to be different part nos. from 2007 to 2009: ACD 2172422 and ACD 2173151, respectively.

So what are the differences and which should I go with for my application?

Full disclosure: I'm also running an Airaid intake tube for a 2009 (to take advantage of the PCV port) and using the stock airbox.

Here's a pic of my current set up because I know we all love pics.

Are you using the x-link? They have said with certain throttle bodies, you have to clip a wire. I'd search and see what you can find. I'm using a truck throttle body and a stock x-link and mine works fine.

I am using one. Based on my reading, a wire needs to be clipped to allow the TB to open fully on some applications. I believe, with mine, I don't need to. I'm using the ACD 2173153 90mm TB.

I did check by watching the valve open fully while I had someone press the gas pedal.

So I ordered a 2007 & 2009 NNBS TB to compare the two. There's definitely a difference.

2007 p/n: GM 12580760, ACD 217-2422
2009 p/n: GM 12629992, ACD 217-3151

Here's some pics:

2007 on the left, 2009 on the right.

You can see the biggest difference is on the bottom of the opening just in front of the blade.
