Default nitrous vs maf lbs/min readings

This may be a dumb question, but I know that s/c or turbo's will up the maf lbs/m just because its pulling more air through the filter+maf, but what about nitrous? Does the increased hp from nitrous make the motor pull more air? Since f/i gets more oxygen to the combustion via air, and nitrous gets more oxygen in via.....itself..........does the motor pull more air in making the maf readings higher?

The last time I had the predator hooked up, the bottle pressure was low (this is a 50 shot - anything less than ~950 does nothing or is too rich) and was reading just a tad higher while spraying vs n/a - about 28 average with a peak of 34 n/a and about 32 average while spraying with low bottle pressure. I havent tested or looked at maf lbs/min while spraying at full bottle pressure.

The n/a runs are a rich factory tune (custom predator nitrous tune) to be extra safe while I'm testing out the nitrous, which may be why both the n/a run and the low pressure n2o run weren't showing very high maf readings

I have heard that you take the maf lbs/min reading X about 10 and get approximate horsepower.........so if it was say, 35 lbs/min, would that mean 350 hp at the motor? or wheels?

Just curious

Default

A wet kit shouldn't show any change in the MAF readings but, a dry kit should.

That's why you can run HUGE wet/direct port shots on an these electronics and not worry about maxing the MAF.
