Has anyone heard good/bad about Zex Nitrous systems? I am really liking this nitrous idea. Ideally I would like to just tap into my stock air box with a nozzle. I saw it done in 4-Wheel and Offroad magazine a few years back on a Durango. It was a sweet setup and I think he ran a 75 shot, but it might have been a dry shot. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Brandon

He told me it was a wet shot. He used the Zex brand. And I'm pretty sure that he didn't have his truck tuned for the nitrous.

yeah don't go dry but the airbox sounds cool but you might not get as good a result as if you installed it behind the throttle body

i had both a wet and dry set up on my truck a few months ago, the wet seemed to work alot better.

i also like the nx set up, you can just put the nozle right in your air tube in front of the throttle plate. no spacer needed. you can find basic used kits for around $300 but i would look for a complete kit in the $500 range, you can get a heater and purge and maybe a gauge and some other stuff sometimes all for $500 if you look for it.

stock 4.8 rcsb4 4wd truck i ran a 16.6 na and a 13.9 with a 100shot, the next week i cam back with a cold t stat, electric fans and big radiator and ran a 16.1 na and a 13.48 with a 100shot. this was a nx wet kit sprayed right out of the hole, your not really suppose to spray right out of the hole though, bad things can happen. , the tranny was sliping all ready and i still had intransits on it
