That's not any pitting at the top of it? It looks like a hairline crack, but it could be a piece of hair or something.
THe pitting shouldn't be much of a problem, but if it's much worse than that, it could eat up the rings.
If that's not any pitting, don't worry at all.

are you getting a stall?? that is a big deal. you dont have to go a huge, but at least a TBTC...I have the same cam, my trap speeds were very similar to stock, but above 90mph it is alot faster

I'm not seeing any pitting (?) All i see is fuzzy, dust stuff stuck in the oil on the cylinder walls.
It was just honed. Stock 4" bore.

well, my track times were hot. I got thru tech and hot lapped twice, pulling 14.6 so it was not bad for a hot truck, stright off the eway...now once it is in the 70's I know it will run faster...more times tonight
