Default newbie motor build help

ok, heres the deal, looking to build a motor over winter gen3 5.3L. was hoping to stroke it ( the motor lol), and running nitrous. looking to get pretty close to 500hp. ill be pickin up a lv3 flt 4l60e in the next few weeks. we have a 1/8 mile track about 15mins from my house so id like to build around that, no keep in mind this has to be STREETABLE, its not my dialy but does/will get driven quite often beside the track. also keep in mind id like this to be a very budget minded build, as to main reason i want to bottle fed it.
what i am needing help with is picking parts for the build, and possible options i could go with. im not sure how to decide what cam i need or should run, as well as pistons, style etc. so was hoping someone would be kind enuff to kinda help me build a parts list..
