Default Newb Question - 99 5.3 silverado

I've still got the stock LS1 intake left over from an LS6 manifold swap in my camaro.

My dad wants to know if my old intake would mate up to his truck and if so, any gains?

Thanks!

Probably not worth it on a stock setup.
