Default new or used heads

ive got a new set of 241 heads and a used set of 241 heads. i am building a 6.0 with a 224/224 .581 .581 114+4 cam. if you were in my place would you just slap the new heads on and run with it or would you sell the new ones and use the money to get the used set done up?

I'm afraid there's not a big value difference between new and used 241 heads. I have both and they're the least asked for heads we sell these days.
In Stage 2 trim, the 241 heads typically produce 385-400rwhp on 5.7l engines with the same 224º cam. I would expect your 6.0l engine to make less due to the heavier drive train losses. You would do well to look into a car type intake manifold to make this combination pull hard in the mid and upper rpm ranges.

Good luck,

Richard
