Default New Track Times

Friday I went down to the track in Bakersfield, Famoso Race Way for there test and tune Friday night gurge match. The times could have been beter if it wasnt so HOT .

The day peaked out at 102*F and it was rumored to be well over 90* on the track.

with a 'Best Of':

R/T .739
60' 2.309
330' 6.143
1/8 9.298
MPH 78.36
1000' 12.008
1/4 14.335
MPH 95.10

Not bad for being only 4.8L of fuel injected fury. No mater what I did I could not get a good 60'. There is more ET to be found on a cooler night. I think that once the 4.10's go from in the tool box to in the rear end I think 13.999 isnt that far off.

Yes, but not much. Im using a single fan type fogger on a dry shot (like NOS 5177) However, with a single fogger its not a very large shot. The jet Im using is a .052 so thats something like a 60HP shot. Im going to build a two stage set up and go for 125HP shot over the winter.

Im going to try to go back in about a month. Ill PM you and let you know. My two friends with Mustangs cant fathom that my truck was faster. The one with the black stang is very upset with the 14.7 he ran, so he wants a re-match. "Dude, its a Mustang. What'd you expect"

I am also running a .052 on a dry shot but I though it was supposed to be about a 100 shot. I lose a little over a second when I am spraying.
Congrats on the new times!

I went to your home page and check out your truck, nice ride. The NOS 5177 dry kit uses two foggers with dual jets. The 100HP shot on the 5177 is with two .032 jets.
.032 + .032 = .064
The 75HP shot on the 5177 is with two .028's
.028 + .028 = .056
Also two foggers will flow more than one given the same jetting, respectively. So two foggers each with a .028, for a total jetting flow of .056, will move more gas than a lone fogger with a .056.
