Man, nice run, nice time, nice 60'... Those poor STS Basher will probably have to complain about the marron color lol
It's very tempting to install all the parts at one time, but I really like taking my time and seeing what each step produces. It never fails, someone is going to ask me "what did it do on 5psi" "what did it do with just the cam" hahah,

Should I do the 10psi and intercooler first, or the cam and 5psi, utimately it will be all.

I guess I missed all the posts about bad 60" times for the sts turbos, I just figured they all took off hard. I need better brakes and bigger slicks, then a 60" time of 1.6 would be no problem, I'd be able to launch at 5psi.

thanks again,

allen

10 & FMIC or 5 & cam? Tough call.

I *think* 10 and FMIC will be more power than 5 and a cam, but if your cam sounds like a dragster it could be really cool for the stop light factor alone Do you already have heads?

What do you think would be good gears for the SSS? I think this heavy, maybe 4.10s are pretty dead on?

Nice Allen, Looks like you are really getting it dialed in. Now I have to make the big choice STS or a good set of heads and N/A.

That's impressive for only 5psi!

For the PCV ... I got an air/water seperator for compressed air lines to put between the PCV valve and the intake tube. The seperator has oil in it, so I guess it's working.

Hey whats up fellas. I got a 2000 gmc x cab. What do you think I'll get out of this truck in the 1/4 mile. I've got a 5.3 with stock sts kit, nelson tune high low boost kit ,meth injection ,373 eaton posi, 5"-7" lowerd 20" sinister wheels, denali grille, roll pan. I have 43# injectors on the way because my truck was leaning out on the dyno.
I'd like to post some pics on here! how do you postem?

thanks procharged, it's about time, it was sitting for about 2months, lol.

Turboberserker, i think you're right, 10psi is going to make more than the cam and 5. I'll rest on it a bit and see how it turns out. I'm just really enjoying the truck now and I can't wait to see how it turns out, it feels so damn strong on the highway
I still have my 80shot NOS setup , one way or the other, 10's will happen hahah.
Your gears are great, you run a huge tire, so that's good, my tire is kind of short, but those gears are very tall too.

matt, the turbo is going to get that truck moving fast, but there's nothing like a head and cam truck to get attention either! hard choice buddy! i can tell you , the sts kit is going to feel awesome!

thanks flyer, maybe you can be the first to do a radix and turbo, hehehe!
come to the dark side!

see ya,

allen

You'll hit the 13's easily! The lean condition is holding you back, but those injectors are going to wake the truck up!

When you reply, just scroll down a bit and attach a file,

later,
