New Times With The Shift Kit.

WELL I MADE IT OUT TO HALLSVILLE DRAGWAY THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AND LETS JUST SAY I WAS PRETTY DISSAPOINTED IN MY TIMES. EVERY TIME IVE WENT TO THE TRACK THIS YEAR PRIOR TO THIS WEEKEND IT HAS BEEN ABOUT 54 TO 60 DEGREES AND WITH THE WIND BLOWING, LOW HUMIDITY. WELL IT WAS 85 DEGREES AND ABOUT 85% HUMIDITY THIS TIME. THE BEST I COULD GET OUT OF HER WAS 15.35 LEAVING IN 4WD LIKE ALWAYS. AND THATS WITH THE MOTOR NOT QUITE WARMED ALL THE WAY UP TO TEMPERATURE. THIS SUCKS CUZ LAST TIME I GOT IT TO 15.05 WHILE THE MOTOR WAS HOT! BUT I DID HAVE FUN BRACKET RACING SINCE I WON!!! THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER ENTERED AND I WAS CUTTING SOME KILLER LIGHTS, .514, .526, AND .536. AND I GOT TO MEET NATHAN, BETTER KNOWN AS FLYER ON HERE. HIS TRUCK IS BAD ***, HE WAS RUNNING 12.7Os ALL NIGHT WITH NO TRACTION!!! BUT I EXPECTED BETTER TIMES OUT OF MINE SINCE THE SHIFT KIT AND ALL TM REMOVED. HAVE YALL SEEN THAT MUCH OF A DROP IN TIME WITH WARMER TEMPS LIKE THAT. I WAS TOLD WITH THAT BIG OF A TEMP CHANGE AND HUMIDITY IT WOULD SLOW ME DOWN BY ALMOST HALF A SECOND. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT? ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED.

The temp and humidity definately killed you. I went from a 15.9 with a k&n drop in and exhaust in 45* weather with about 50% humidity to my mods in my sig now with 70* weather and about 85% humidity it makes a huge difference.
