It is definitly functional...and its from Suncoast Creations...not Goodmark. I was seeing more top end pull than the other charged silvys yesterday because of the hood. I love it!

(NO comment on Chapman or xtremes trucks except they were all much lighter and modded more than mine )

I would not comment either if I got beat . I was there (at Firebird) on Sat. and saw a lot of the test and tune runs. First off much lighter and modded more is an exaggeration. One of the Chapman trucks was an extended cab with 20in. wheels and the other a short bed on 18s w/ drag radials. Yes they had traction bars but I do not think anything else that yours did not have. Second the one Xtreme truck was similar to yours with traction bars and a stock air box running 13.5s on 20s, the other ok was on e.t. streets,no traction bars,no headers or exhaust, using a STS Turbo kit w/meth inj.on a 4.8ltr. and it was running 13.7s on e.t. streets and 14.0s on stock tires. I believe that truck ran 16.7s stock, did I mention 4.8liters, now thats impressive.

I got my new Gtech RR today, and decided to take it out and play with it. First, I shouldn't be using this, since the transmission is f*cked already and I constantly have an SES light for "Transmission Component Slipping" and it had been raining all day, and drizzleing on and off, so the streets are wet. None the less, I couldn't resist. I need a USB to Serial converter for my laptop, so I cannot get the data charts posted yet, but with 99% humidity, wet roads, and a shitbox tranny, lol:

14.08 @ 98.?? (forgot)
60' : 2.576
HP : 384

Obviously not a track run (and don't try and compare) but it will give me an idea for comparison after the tranny swap (T56).

BTW I am starting the swap from 4L60E to T-56 tomorrow or friday hopefully, wish me luck...

easy killer...I wasnt talking smack by any means. Not to mention, the guys from S&M and Xtreme were very cool.

The charged 5.3 Xtreme had a pulley...and yes a stock air box. Also nicer headers. Looked to be a 3" pulley to me. It had traction bars...and the 13.5 came as the air got better.
The turbo 4.8 is a whole different animal so I have nothing to say about that. I can guarantee neither one came anywhere close to weighing in at 4710lbs with driver as my truck did. Especially pullin the tailgates off and runnin slicks at the end of the day.
S&Ms red 05 I believe also ran a 13.5 the following morning in better air. He too had trac bars, drag radials, better headers... and Im guessing in the area of 300+lbs less than me. And yes I realize their ex cab on 20s was heavy even with a 90lb girl drivin it.

I said no comment. You obviously had a few things on your mind. Ill be back there Friday nite. Come out and watch ill buy you a beer since you're sittin in the stands instead of racing.

also...on my 13.84@99 run, well that pass I had a 210lbs passenger in the truck so lets up my race weight to 4920lbs at the hottest point of the day

I think I was the one that originally mentioned the Chapman trucks. I did not mean to start a fight or anything, but I just like his (Todd's) truck more. JMO. No malicious intent.

Faster or not, he won his bracket and looked good doing it!

Oh yeah, 4700lbs....you need to put that thing on a diet. My EC weighs that much....dayum.

actually, I won bracket the following day at Speedworld for CLub Day...I ditched day 2 of Truckin to hang out with my ls1 buddies.

Yea...shes a fatty. Full body kit, audio system, 22s, toneau, etc etc etc. Only a 1/4 tank when I weighed in. That 4700 is with me in it though.

ps...i think everyone can tell Im not going to try to break any records or make the top 10 in this truck. Its a multi purpose show/go/daily driver.
