Default New times with the RADIX!!!!

Well, I went to pick my M/T ET Streets 27x10.5x16 up from the tire store today. I got there, backed up in the bay, got the rims out. The guy put them on the rim thing to put the tires on, greased it and went to put it on ... he had a dumb founded look on his face and said we have a problem. He showed me the label which read 27x10.5x15. I was ....

I went to the track anyways tonite and ran on the Eagle GT2's and boy do they suck! My best run was as follows. This was easing off the line getting a 2.5 60" and nailing it shortly after, still breaking them loose.

Well ... I tried to scan it, but it wouldn't come out, the printer they use is really light, but here it is.

60' 2.504
1/8 8.85
MPH 86.27
1/4 13.42
MPH 105.65

I think with the slicks I have a 12 in the bag. They will have better traction and shorter final drive ratio.

After looking over my slips ... I have a few mid 14 second runs with 102-105 traps.

Traction for me was horrible!

Not bad. Get some slicks and you'll be in good shape. Was it busy out there? I've never been to Hallsville, so I don't know how many people run there. Most of the time when I go to Ennis, it takes forever to get your runs in.

Did you happen to see a Pewter Camaro SS out there running 9s? Jay Johnson said he may try out his nitrous before the shootout. He's running 9s on motor, so he may see 8s on the spray.

That should be worth 12.7s-12.8s at least with slicks. Good runs with street tires. I tried to spray the 225 off the line once on my street tires just to see what would happen, and got a 2.8 60' and was already in third gear in about 100'. Havent tried that agian.

BigTex .. I did see a pewter SS, but he wasn't running 9's. I saw him run a 12.42 against a stroked Impalla SS running 12.47.

Snake ... tires were definantly running against me. I still need to get this beast tuned too. Next time I'm at the track I should be tuned and have good tires w/ traction bars. We will get to see what kind of magic Allen down at Nelsons can work on mine.

I was so stoked after that run, but still mad since the dips got the wrong tires at the tire store. I got beat by a 3000GT that can't drive cause I kept loosing it off the line. As the night went on, traction got worse for me. That run I made a 14.4 and he ran a 14.6, I lost in the r/t and 60'.

I would also like to know about Hallsville.
Test-n-tune sessions Fri. 6pm and Sat. 4pm, correct? Is it better to go on Friday night?
TIA

I went to test and tune, they ended up starting at about 7'ish. Once Midnight Madness started up, it was over run with rice and kids being ignorant. If you were running TNT you couldn't run passed 12, but by that time it was so bad you couldn't get a run in hardly. I've heard that the track hooks well, my 2.5 60' says 1 of 2 things, they lied or Eagle GT2's suck, which we all know they do.

As far as track amminities ... it could be nicer, but I can't complain to much about it.
