my previous best 13.98 @ 99.6,

last night i hit a 13.589 @ 99.2

pretty happy with the stall so far.

while there last night, i saw a 2003 5.3 running, they said he hit 12.8's on motor and 11.2's with juice. damn fast 5.3

I'm thinking about a stall too. what is the part number and how much did you pay for it? Does it drive nice on the street?

Happy to hear your happy with the stall. With some slicks you'll be beating fbodys. La chicken is a friend of mine. He's well known around here for owning fast vehicles. He's got a bunch of mods on his 03' but I cannot say what. I can tell you this...his previous truck was a black 2002 RCSB 5.3 Silverado that was running 12.2s on spray. Laters...

I was there. What was the guy in the T/A thinking since he had red lighted and the other car was already around the 330ft when he took off. Should of just pace the car to the traps. No way he was gonna catch him. I saw when your buddy's SS rear end went . Sorry to hear about that. Yeah, took forever to clean the oil off the track after the dragster's run. Sorry about the highjack...

Sure would like to know more about:

Seems a little to good to be true, unless he dumped a bunch of $ in a 5.3 motor...

I don't see why it seems to good to be true. 12sec5.3 managed to pull a 12.8 with a mild cam/headwork and a 3k stall. This guy has a huge cam/headwork, 3800 stall and 4.56 gears. I belive the fast trucks here in this forums are just a small sample of all the fast trucks. One of my friends who makes frequent trips to Laredo, TX told me there were a couple of 99+ trucks in the 10's. Laredo is not too far away from Edinburg. Maybe one day I will make my way to that track with my video cam and see for my self if it's true.
