Default New to site and have a question

First of all, Hello. I'm new to the site, at least as far as posting goes.

My question:

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 NBS (w/Z71) with the 6.0 Vortec Max engine. I've installed the Airraid MIT Jr. intake on it but done nothing else yet. I plan to do custom cat-back exhaust with magnaflow muffler and a custom tune by diablew. My question is besides these things, are there any other rather easy things that I can do to this motor to get better performance out of it? Does an aftermarket MAF sensor get me anything? What about a cooler running thermostat (160 Deg)?

Thanks for your help.

KnotSlip.

No to the MAF (unless your current one is malfunctioning)... no to the cooler thermostat.
