Thumbs up New to the site and a ?

Wanted to say hello and to ask if anyone uses the Diablosport tuner on there truck? I Have an 04 SSR with the 5.3 and I want to tweak it some. The stock firmness of the shifts are terrible...

Any opinions on this tuner? I have swapped my Diesel tuner out for the one for my SSR so I will be using it for a while.

i have it on my 01 silvy. your better off for the money to get a mail order or dyno tune done for around the same price. LS1EDIT or HPTUNERS is far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far superior. you will be much happier in the over all driving experince of your ssr. also, you will not outgrow edit or hptuners like you can with a handheld.

right now there is a special going for i think 200 bucks for a mail order hptuners.

btw, welcome to the site. we have lots of info. so don't be bashful. ask away.

Welcome to the site, you are the only member that I know of with an SSR here. If you are after harder shifts there are a few other things you can other than playing with tuning for cheap. You can swap out the intermeadiate servo for an aftermakarket "corvet" servo. Or for a bit more you can put a shift kit in. Either one of thies will work and play well with most all tunes.
