My brother has a new 2003 Silverado SS with cold air intake and true duel Flowmasters. Does anyone have any guesses on what his 1/4 mile times might be? Also he is talking about getting a Vortec super charger it. He thinks he will be able to beat my Camaro when he gets the S/C. What do you guys think?

 

No to beating your camaro. The high compression motor is anti-boost friendly IMO. Now a good shot of nitrous and a few bolt ons and it will run strong.

In the summer most SSs were running low 15s stock. With some break in time and cooler temps, high 14s or 15 flat in stock form.

 

in the 1/8th I've seen them running 10 flat....but that's what mine runs.

 

Hey neighbor. I just saw you live in Royce City, I live in Forney. I took my stock SS out to Redline in July and ran a 10.03.

Have you seen Alan Reubers SS from Greenville out there? He had MMT install a heads and cam package and a direct port system on it. I'd like ot know what it runs.

Thought about going to Redline this evening but halloween took too much time.
