so i have a 08 crewcab silverado that i pulled the motor and have been in the process of rebuilding. but was given a gen 3 6.0 for free. so thought i wil just build it instead but i have a few questions first.
first off i know i will have to change the reluctor wheel on the crank, but does anyone have any experience doing that?

now i already have a comp cam 231/239 cam that i would like to use in the 6.0. from the 5.3 that i pulled out of the truck i have a set of 243 milled .030 over and wondering if they would be good for the 6.0 with the cam, or if i should buy some texas speed prc heads? also already have lifters, pushrods(will check before i install), HD timing set, and valve springs installed on the 243 heads.

looking for all advice that can help me out or any other suggestions anyone would have for me.

also i will be upgrading the transmission a 4l80 just not sure which one i will be going with, so if you have any sugestion on trans that would be great also.
