Well, money is tight right now, trying to help my mom buy a house and stuff so I am trying to find a good balance of cheap/powerful/dependable for an engine to get my truck back on the road. Here is what I am doing: I bought a 3000 mile shortblock from a salvage yard. I am going to put in some ARP rod bolts, a custom cam .556/.571 222/228, and I am going to port my stock 6 liter heads myself. I am selling my TEA heads and a couple other small items to help pay for the project. Once I get the motor out of the truck I will probably sell the block too. If things go as planned I should end up with a decent combo and not be out anything but my time.

 

How much for the heads? What other goodies are there?

 

I am not sure what else I will be selling. I have the '02 LS6 cam but it is already spoken for. If that falls through I will post it. Here is a link to the heads.
