Default new mods

well talked to allen this morning and he is sending me a 93 super hot tune. 100% tm removed and shift turned up and shifting at 6000rpm. along with this install i am going to install my ls1efans and my tb spacer and if i can get one i am going to install a 160* stat at the same time . along with the recent install of a detriot true trac and 3.73 gears i have a feeling it is going to be a ho hella of alot more fun to drive what do you think she will run with all the installs?

i don't know what it will run with the new installs cause i don't know what you run now. but if you are all about saving money, you can make a 160 stat using your stock one. all you do is take the stat off the truck, use some channel locks or equivelant and push down and twist the inside out of the housing. there will be a small round orifice that a bb (as in bb gun bb) will drop down into. put it back together and replace onto truck.

if you do a search under bb tstat mod or something like that, it will probably pull up better descriptions.

i do like efans tho. i can't wait to put a set on my wifes TB.

yep, i have one on my truck that bigkid did. you can pm him and he can give you exact details but they won't vary much from what i said. you will have to use some strength to get the insides to come out as you have to hold the tstat in one hand, use the tool to hold the insides and push down and twist. once you have it off and look at it, you will figure it out quick.

well my 22" rims are only 33lbs apiece and they are a 1" shorter tire than i ran on the 16" rims so they shouldnt slow me down to much. nightmare w/ a 99 silvy 4.10's same locker, nelson 89 tune, k&n fipk, he ran a 15.2 and 15.1 on 16" rims so with my 02 with a 93 tune that is hot as allen will go without seat time and efans, tb spacer i should be close to it or faster i hope to see 15.00 or less

thats exactly what im going to do. tap the nozle into the bottom of it so no one can see it. then hide the rest.
